Causes of Muscle Soreness

DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) is a symptom that stems from rigorous exercise. Symptoms can range from muscle tenderness to severe pain. Usually, DOMS occurs from high amounts of exercise intensity, duration, and/or the amount of time your muscles are loaded in the eccentric or lowering phase of an exercise. Debilitating muscle soreness is never convenient for anyone so here are a few ways to alleviate the pain of your muscle soreness and reduce the duration of its effects:
